Jessie Jones

Jessie M. Jones is a seasoned nonprofit and public service professional with extensive experience in public benefits access, community outreach, and organizational administration. She currently serves as a Part-Time Public Benefits Specialist at Savannah Technical College, where she supports students and community members by assessing eligibility for public assistance programs, completing applications, and connecting individuals to vital resources.

Jessie holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Family Studies from Corban College and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Organization and Leadership from Savannah State University. Her career spans higher education, affordable housing, community-based nonprofits, and public school systems, including roles that involved board coordination, grant support, program administration, and client advocacy.

Deeply committed to community engagement, Jessie has volunteered with organizations focused on food insecurity, youth mentorship, juvenile resiliency, disability services, and the arts. Her combined experience in governance support, service delivery, and leadership development brings a thoughtful, mission-driven perspective to board service.  She is a member of the CHSA, Inc. board.
