Alicia Gaffney serves as Assistant Vice President, Lending Officer at Carver State Bank, which is also a CDFI. Ms. Gaffney has underwritten and serviced more than $260 million in loans during her 18 years as a loan originator and processor. She also performs loan reviews, monitors the bank’s compliance with all banking regulations, and has audited a wide range of credits, including loans originated as part of government-sponsored programs. Ms. Gaffney assists in the correction of all loan-related technical exceptions that are identified by management or auditors. She recommends changes, new procedures, and techniques to eliminate weaknesses in policies and procedures in the areas of loan documentation and file maintenance. Ms. Gaffney also assists with file review and follow-up during all loan audits (FDIC, State, and financial audit). Ms. Gaffney is a graduate of Savannah State University. She is a member of the CHSA Inc. board.
