Michael Stephens began his career at Wachovia Corporation (now Wells Fargo) where he held various senior management positions in International Banking, Treasury and Bank Card Services over his 25-year career. He then joined a New York-based consulting firm that specialized in the development of customer loyalty focused, multi-year financial partnerships among large financial institutions, major corporations and payment networks.
After spending twelve years as the Managing Director of the NY consulting firm, he left to form his own company focused on the same types of financial partnerships. He has a degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Stephens moved to Savannah in 2013 and is the past chair of the Board of Trustees of St. Joseph’s and the St. Joseph’s/Candler Foundations. He’s also held board positions at other local institutions, such as the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Savannah. He is a member of the CHSA, Inc. board.
