Marsha Buford is a newly elected member of the Chatham County Commission for District Eight. She is also the Founder and Pastor of The House of Favor Full Gospel Ministries, established in 2004. Pastor Buford retired from Banking after 22 years of successful service in 2006. Pastor Buford also works as a volunteer Chaplain at the Chatham County Detention Center. She graduated from Savannah Vocational Technical School with a degree in Accounting and attended the Word Alive Bible School. A dedicated community leader, she serves as president of the West Savannah Community Organization, president of the board of directors for Tharros Place. She is the president of the board of CHSA Development, Inc.
