Mr. Madsen spent 35 years in the insurance industry at various agencies in Connecticut before retiring in 2017 to Savannah. In his final role, he served as Executive Vice President at WR Berkley Corporation, a Fortune 500 insurance and reinsurance company with over 5000 employees worldwide. He is an experienced executive who has managed billions in revenue with a firm grasp of risks and liabilities. He is a graduate of St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota. He is the secretary of the board for CHSA, Inc.
